Publishing and embedding

Receive collector inquiries

On Pro, enable Inquiry form in Gallery settings and enter the gallery name, email and your privacy notice. After publication, visitors can inquire about one artwork or up to 20 shortlisted works. Open Collector inquiries from the exhibition menu to track status, save private notes and export CSV. Reply from your own email app; no automatic emails are sent. Standalone ZIP exports retain email contact.

Shortlist, share and print

On an artwork’s visitor detail page, Save to shortlist builds a personal selection and Copy artwork link points directly to that work. Revisit your selection under Object list → My shortlist. Catalogue / PDF opens the current search results or shortlist as a printable page. Choose Print / Save as PDF, then select PDF output in your browser’s print dialog. Use the published gallery for sharing: editor preview links require sign-in.

Tell the exhibition’s story

Choose a room template for a new exhibition. Use Text panel in the object library to place a curatorial introduction on a wall. In an object’s properties, open Audio guide to upload your MP3 or PCM WAV (20 MB / 20 minutes) and add its transcript.

Gallery settings → Guided tour: choose and order stops, then Preview tour. Visitors can step through, turn on auto advance or explore freely. Audio starts on their request and stops on manual navigation. The object list supports searching by title, artist and material.

With Pro, an object link can appear as a Buy artwork button. It is hidden for reserved and sold objects. The gallery inquiry address is public; the inquiry button opens the visitor’s email app. GalleryLab does not process artwork payments.

Embed once, then publish updates

  1. Build your gallery and wait for saving to finish.
  2. Export → Publish. This saves and publishes the current version.
  3. Copy the stable iframe code into your website.
  4. After editing, click Update live. The iframe URL stays the same. Open viewers show an update notice; new visits load the new version.

After publishing, download the gallery QR code here for posters or invitations. It points to the stable live address, so publishing updates does not require reprinting. Public use requires HTTPS hosting.

WordPress / HTML / Webflow

Use a Custom HTML block in WordPress or an Embed element in Webflow. Paste directly into an HTML page. If your platform blocks or strips iframes, administrator permission or an appropriate plan/plugin is required; GalleryLab cannot override that restriction.

<iframe src="https://YOUR-GALLERY-HOST/g/YOUR-ID/index.html" title="Exhibition" style="width:100%;height:80svh;min-height:320px;border:0" loading="lazy" allow="fullscreen" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Use a public HTTPS URL on a live website. 127.0.0.1 only works on your own computer. If you add sandbox restrictions, your trusted viewer needs allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-pointer-lock allow-popups allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox. The parent page must also allow fullscreen.

Downloadable ZIP

Extract the Web ZIP on your own HTTP/HTTPS hosting and embed its index.html URL. This is an independent snapshot; publishing in GalleryLab does not update it. To update, export and upload the full package again. Original uploads and editor code are excluded from the visitor package; keep a separate editable project backup.

Mobile visits

Left thumb: analog joystick to walk. Right thumb: drag to look around, tap an object to inspect it. Use Fullscreen in portrait or landscape; if the browser does not support it, open the gallery in a separate tab.
