Upload and describe an artwork
- Choose Painting, Photo/print or Rug and upload PNG, JPEG or WebP. Transparency works with PNG/WebP.
- Enter the actual width, height/length and depth; pixels are not physical measurements. Default thickness is about 5 cm for paintings, 0.3 cm for prints and 1 cm for rugs.
- Add title, description, artist, year, material and optional installation/care information. Product links must be HTTP/HTTPS and appear publicly only when the plan permits.
- Place the object and check both its face and side view.
Frames and transparent cutouts
New paintings and prints have no added frame. If the uploaded photograph already includes a frame, leave Frame off. For an extra frame, choose its style, colour and width. In Image workshop, remove a connected background colour with tolerance, trace a polygon, or use erase/restore brushes and Undo. The edited image is saved separately; there is no AI reconstruction. Side depth follows the visible alpha silhouette, not hidden carved ornament.
Hanging and floor rugs
Choose wall or floor placement. For a wall rug, the hanging height is the top edge measured from the floor. Its full length is preserved; excess length bends onto the floor when it extends below the hanging point. Give it enough unobstructed floor space. The shape is calculated geometry, not a live cloth simulation.
Image quality and originals
Browser uploads retain the original privately and prepare a proportional WebP texture up to 4096 px on the longest side plus a 512 px preview. Images are never enlarged to invent detail. The source limit is 40 megapixels and the complete upload package must fit within 40 MiB. A large high-quality original may need proportional resizing before upload to satisfy these limits. Display quality also depends on Graphics settings and distance.
