Resume or start a new import
After a failure, Import / resume continues at the unfinished product using the job’s saved choices. It does not reprocess completed pictures or silently adopt new size/rule settings from step 2. Start a fresh import to apply a changed selection/mapping. Avoid editing the same target gallery in another tab during final generation; a newer revision causes a protective conflict.
Refresh versus rebuild
A normal refresh keeps manually edited physical dimensions and layout. Applying new selection/placement/size rules to an existing layout requires explicit Rebuild, with a recovery version. Rebuild replaces spatial arrangement, so review it before publishing. Background product updates retain catalogue coverage for prior galleries but do not automatically republish every exhibition.
A better photo without changing the webshop
- In 3dGallery → WordPress / WooCommerce, find the product card and upload a high-resolution product image. This changes the gallery catalogue source, not the merchant’s WooCommerce image.
- Update the chosen gallery draft, inspect it and publish. Other galleries can be refreshed separately. Use webshop image again removes the separate catalogue choice.
- For a photo only in one gallery, select the object in the editor and use Replace file. Sync and Rebuild preserve this override; Use synced product image again restores the catalogue/source image.
- An image replacement does not replace physical size or position with pixel dimensions.
WooCommerce image limits
Plugin import preserves a fitting WebP and retains the original attachment bytes privately. Choose 4096 or 2048 px longest-side texture size; preview is up to 512 px. Per image: source ≤10 MiB/40 megapixels, texture ≤4 MiB and preview ≤512 KiB. These are per-product limits, distinct from total account storage. WebP-capable GD/Imagick is required. Current imports copy media into private gallery storage; direct hotlinking to merchant image hosting is not enabled.
